DIALOGUE WITH OVERSEAS CHINESE AFFAIRS STATE COUNCILOR

The Anvil Business Club (Association of Young Filipino-Chinese Entrepreneurs) with the Club's esteemed founders and stalwarts in a private dialogue with none other than The Honorable Wang Xiaoping (王 曉 萍) of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council. In a rare one-hour session exclusively for the Anvil Business Club, the visiting Chinese official personally invited the members of the organization to visit China on a goodwill mission, committing to them all the privileges and assistance they would need to make their stay memorable and relevant.

Despite her high stature and punishing schedule, the highly-respected dignitary deliberately set aside her time to talk with the young, future Filipino-Chinese business leaders in a private dialogue, peppered not only with pleasantries but with a strong commitment to partner with the organization's China-related international programs and projects.

The Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council in the People's Republic of China is the administrative office responsible for liaising with overseas Chinese residing abroad or returning to China. It is the People's Republic of China's top official in formulating the guidelines, policies and regulations concerning the works on overseas Chinese affairs, as it chiefly assists the Premier in handling the overseas Chinese affairs. Its forerunner, the Committee of Overseas Chinese Affairs, was established in 1949 and was re-established as the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office in 1978.
